| Like many other authors, I read a book I didn’t like. Despite occasional digs from my children, I decided I could write a romance.

I'm a retired teacher, (no I'm not an English teacher - although quite a few romance authors are) but I have taught fiction writing and spoken at conferences throughout the country.
My husband, an engineer, and I moved south to the land of hurricanes and sunshine to get away from the cold and the snow. When I'm not watching the weather, I write, trying to create believeable heros and heroines, then finding ways to make their lives miserable.

I do like "dixieland" and "ragtime". | | | Films | | I don't watch a lot of TV or movies. I do like Law & Order, and if I have to watch a movie it will probably be a musical | | | Sports | | Most of my youth was spent in Indiana, so I'm defintiely a "Colts" Football fame. | | | Scared Of | | I HATE snakes. I'd prefer not to experience any more earthquakes, tornados, and I sure wouldn't want to be close to an erupting volcano! | | | Happiest When | | Writing. Definitely writing | |
